10 tips to help you have a Greener Bathroom
We thought that we could give you 10 tips to having a greener bathroom…
- Make sure that your bathroom products packaging is bio-degradable, if its not unwrap it at the store counter and leave a strong message to the manufacturer.
- Buy and use soap which is environmentally friendly such as Handmade Natural Soaps from Lush.
- When cleaning your bathroom do not use heavy bleaches, there are plenty of natural cleaners available.
- When washing your towels and face cloths, use washing machine liquid which is environmentally friendly.
- Replace those old bulbs with nice energy efficient cfl lights, they come in all shapes and sizes now.
- When your not in the bathroom turn the lights off.
- Make sure that you have a toilet which has a dual flush system, if it does not place a brick in the cistern this will with an average brick save roughly 1ltr of water per flush.
- When brushing your teeth, don’t leave the tap running, your wasting water.
