The Green Book: The Everyday Guide to Saving the Planet (review)

Well I’ve finished reading this book and to be perfectly honest:

I’ve read most of the green guides out there, online and in good old paperback format, some where just rehashes of all the others some where way to hard to follow unless you had a steady income without working and time to kill. This particular book was one of the first ones that really helped to make small changes to my lifestyle that in the long run will make a much bigger difference. It offered very simple guidelines to follow through very simple solutions. For instance I will not ask for a printed receipt when I draw money out from an atm. Also it gave me some new ideas towards composting. It also helped me to stop straining myself bending over backwards to try and save the whole world in one day, by making me realize there are so many other easier ways to do my bit. I have since been buying all my friends and family cotton bags to do their grocery shopping with, these bags do not need to be boring you can make them fun and fashion conscious for the younger crowd aswell.
